"Our business model is unique to the salon industry, in that we are pretty much a 50/50 appointment/walk-in based salon business. In the beginning, we had a POS system that did not address this. We met with and studied several systems from various vendors. All insisted that we fit in one box or the other. There was no existing software that worked well with the combination. Ted was the only software developer willing to accept the challenge and build a system that met our needs. The Franchisors, the DBBuilder Team and I formed a JAD to make this happen. Since the initial design, we have had several major challenges and upgrade requests which have always been met, gift card processing, integrated credit card processing and PCI compliance, just to name a few. Anytime we have found attempted employee theft or security breaches, The DBBuilder Team has worked closely with us to develop reports and improvements to prevent these. All of their support and development team is located in the Seattle Area. Never reaching a call center in a foreign company with language barriers and impairments in relating problems is important to me. It has been a pleasure working with all of the DBBuilder Team staff. They are always eager to find resolutions to any problem areas that may arise. They are a valued partner to the success of our business."
